Chiloschista usneoides  is a rare and unusual orchid that doesn’t have leaves. Instead, it uses its long, thin roots to take in water and light. These roots hang in the air and give the plant a moss-like look.

This orchid is native to tropical forests and grows on tree branches in warm, humid places. It blooms with small, beautiful flowers that often have a sweet scent. The flowers appear directly from the roots and are a lovely surprise when in bloom.
