Thank you for choosing SibOrchid for your orchid purchase. Please read the following international shipping policy carefully, especially if you do not have an import permit for your country.
Documents Included with Each Shipment:
- Phytosanitary Certificate
- CITES Certificate (if required)
- Packing List
- Commercial Invoice
If you need a Pre-CITES document (required to apply for an import permit in certain countries such as Norway or South Korea), please contact us. This can be issued for a $30 fee, which will be fully refunded as a discount on your next order.
Important Notes:
- It is the customer’s responsibility to verify and comply with import regulations in their country before placing an order. SibOrchid’s knowledge is limited to certain countries.
- Upon arrival, the customer must provide any additional documents requested by the shipping carrier or customs, such as a tax ID number or import permit.
- Failure to provide required documents may result in the package being delayed, returned, or destroyed by local authorities.
Conditions for Ordering Without an Import Permit:
By placing an order without an import permit, you agree to the following:
- No refunds will be issued if issues arise due to the lack of an import permit.
- All orchids are classified as CITES plants and generally require an import permit.
- For houseplants, ferns, and Platycerium, small shipments are generally allowed without a permit.
- Always check the official CITES list: https://checklist.cites.org to verify the regulations for your plant species.
