Bulbophyllum Pride of Papua (Bulbophyllum cruentum x Bulbophyllum phalaenopsis) come together to create this hybrid. It gets its bright red flowers and small size from Bulb cruentum, and the graceful, hanging clusters of flowers and bigger size come from Bulbophyllum phalaenopsis.

• Light: It likes bright but not direct sunlight. Try to avoid the harsh midday sun.
• Temperature: Keep it warm to hot, with some change between day and night. Around the mid-80s Fahrenheit during the day and 65-70 Fahrenheit at night is good.
• Humidity: It needs lots of humidity. You can use a humidifier, a tray with pebbles and water, or group your plants together to make a humid environment.
• Watering: Water it just enough all year, and let the soil dry a bit between waterings. Give it a little less water in winter.
• Potting: Use Sphagnum moss, or bark, perlite, and charcoal. You might also want to mount the plant to help air flow around it.
