Bulbophyllum corolliferum is a species of orchid in the genus Bulbophyllum native to Thailand, Borneo, Malaya, and Sumatra. It is a miniature to small-sized, hot-growing epiphyte requiring light shade and high humidity.

Plant description:

  • Pseudobulbs: Garlic-shaped, shortly ovoid, irregularly 4- to 5-sided, truncate, with a single, apical, oblanceolate, obtuse and emarginate, tapered below to a shortly petiolate leaf.
  • Leaves: Single, apical, oblanceolate, obtuse and emarginate, tapered below to a shortly petiolate leaf.
  • Inflorescence: Basal, slender, reddish, 4.4-5.6″ (11-14 cm) long, with several (8-10) flowers held in an umbel beneath the leaf.
  • Flowers: Small, about 1″ (2.5 cm) in diameter, with a short fleshy column and a long, slender spur. The sepals are fused at the base and form a hood over the column. The petals are small and inconspicuous. The lip is three-lobed, with the lateral lobes small and erect, and the mid-lobe large and pendulous. The color of the flowers can be shades of pink, yellow, or white.
