Nervilia concolor, a terrestrial orchid found across a vast range of locations, including Bangladesh, eastern Himalayas, India, Nepal, Pakistan, western Himalayas, Chinese Himalayas, Andaman Islands, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, Borneo, Java, Sumatra, Lesser Sunda Islands, Malaysia, Mollucas, Philippines, Sulawesi, Papua and New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Queensland Australia, Fiji, Niue, New Caledonia, Samoa, Tonga, Vanuatu, Wallis & Futuna, Marianas, the Carolines, and Taiwan. This exquisite orchid thrives in the enchanting environment of rainforests, flourishing at elevations ranging from sea level to 2300 meters.

Nervilia concolor boasts a miniature to small size, making it an ideal addition to any collection. Its growth is versatile, ranging from hot to cold climates, ensuring its adaptability to various environments. Each plant develops petite 1″ [2.5 cm] tubers that give rise to a single, elongated petiole. The distinct leaves are light green and kidney-shaped, with radiating veins, adorned with a captivating concentric semi-circle of brown blotches around the middle, adding a touch of elegance to the foliage.
